The “Fuwa Fuwa Flora” collection, consisting of a plaid and a pouf, is the result of a collaboration between the Mori Seimenjo futon workshop and the BehaghelFoiny studio. These pieces were crafted using the traditional futon-making technique, characterized by the origami-style folding of multiple layers of wadding stacked on top of one another. Made from organic cotton, the textiles feature a pointillist pattern inspired by the endemic and endangered flowers of Izu Island, inviting you to immerse yourself in the vibrant colors of the flora.

The “Fuwa Fuwa Flora” project was part of the “Edo Tokyo Kirari” exchange program between the cities of Paris and Tokyo. The products resulting from this collaboration with Tokyo-based artisans were exhibited at the Galerie des Ateliers de Paris at the BDMMA.
